Call for proposals in the field of environmental protection 2005

The aim of this call for proposals is to identify projects, which might be eligible for financial support from Environment DG. This support would be in the form of co-financing grants. For guidance, Environment DG is planning to assist between 30 and 38 projects, allocating a total sum of approximately 2.080.000 euros.

EuropeAid Co-operation Office has launched a Call for Proposals in the context of pilot budget line 21 02 17,
 “Cultural co-operation with developing countries”.

This Call for Proposals has a budget of 500.000 € committed to awarding 70 % of co-financed grants (of between 180.000 € and 280.000 €) for projects aimed at increasing mutual understanding and strengthening mutual knowledge of cultural models of both developing and European Union countries. Beneficiaries of grants can be partnerships composed of at least one higher education institution and/or school of a European Union Member State and another higher education institution and/or school of one of the developing country beneficiaries of the programme.

The deadline for submission of preliminary proposals is 4 January 2005, 16:00 Brussels time.
